Welcome to Bouler Pfluger Architects, P.C.

Bouler Pfluger Architects, P.C., located in the town of Islip, Long Island, New York is an architectural firm dedicated to designing buildings that are aesthetically, ecologically and conceptually progressive. Its designs are innovative in how they connect materials with location, developing spaces that are elegant, efficient and, foremost, livable. This architectural firm is known for integrating new “green” technology without sacrificing comfort, making effective use of sustainable energy.  James Bouler, Registered Architect, AIA, and Nicholas Pfluger, Registered Architect were featured as the New York architects in the second edition of Leading Residential Architects in 2008, which showcased several high-end, waterfront residential projects on Long Island.  The extent of the firms projects includes residential architecture, commercial architecture, interior renovations, building permit filing, as well as house plans for second story additions, new construction, and sustainable - green home design.    Check out this short film that we made about one of our green home designs that is completely off the grid, “How to Create a Zero Energy House”.  This film illustrates the techniques that we used to create a home that produces more energy than it uses.
